Hello everbody! Today I’m going to talk about a series I saw for Netflix and liked it too. This is "Hannibal". I remember seeing her last year while the university was out of classes, my cousin recommended her to me and I agreed to pick her up on Netflix, which I don’t regret. The plot is based on the classic films of Doctor Hannibal Lecter played by Anthony Hopkins where a man who is a psychiatrist, of high class and who possesses quite elegance, has an obsession with killing people and then eating with the flesh of their people. The Netflix series I saw was about that, but some roles changed, for example, instead of Clarice there was an FBI agent named Will Graham, who possessed the ability to imagine the murders as they had happened and thus help the police with their investigation. Doctor Hannibal who in this series works as an ally of the police, maintains a relationship with Will where they both see themselves as a danger to each other and that is the

A subject I enjoy studying During the second semester of my second year at university I had a subject called “Contemporary Political Ideas and Debates”. It was I enjoyed most academically so far because it taught us about different political positions and facts of the past that have formed the current power relations and a base part of history. Personally it allowed me to understand even more why people choose to believe in something or defend their ideals. I was able to understand different ideologies, empathize and recognize characteristics of certain movements that have been maintained throughout history such as feminism, which also includes different points of views within the same women. Verónica Figueroa Huencho Today I’m in my second year of college and it hasn’t been easy. There are issues that are difficult to understand, and therefore I need someone to guide me. During the first year, I didn't understand very well what the Public Administration was about and I didn't know if my vocation really was this, then my section was assigned to Professor Veronica Figueroa Huencho. She made me understand many areas of performance that I didn'tt know about, made the introduction to the central topic of study and was fruitful. To put us in context, Professor Veronica is a Public Administrator at the University of Chile, a PhD in Management Sciences and she have a postdoctorate from the Center for Latin American Studies at Stanford University.   She's an expert in indigenous politics because she is part of the Mapuche community, and therefore whenever I had doubts about the problems with the native peoples I resorted to it. It was admirable how he f

Gender Roles and Stereotypes Gender roles and stereotypes have marked Chilean society for a long time, making them almost a mediator of our lives.  Many times others have told us what that it’s appropriate, how you should behave if you are a man or a woman, what colors or activities are yours. We are s ubjected to comments and attitudes from others that are unfair. They encapsulate us without allowing us to achieve personal freedom and they criticize us for not framing ourselves in the traditional. It is as profound as the world has been governed by gender roles that in countries like Saudi Arabia women have started driving vehicles just a few months ago as it was considered a male activity. And even they can only do it with the authorization of their husband, brother or father. I feel that it is an issue that excludes no one, affects all of us and I can say that I have been a victim of these situations sometimes in very simple things. Since I was a little girl, I’ve liked
